Setting: one stage, four stand-up comedians. One by one they show what they have in store. Who has the sharpest wit and who steals your heart? All acts are in English, so everyone can enjoy the show! In this Griffioen Comedy Club edition, the following comedians will shine on our stage:

Stephen Bell
Born in Ireland, settled in Holland. This rising star on the European comedy circuit distinguishes himself from his peers by having hilarious rants that could be described as "medically insane". Stephen tends to take his crowd down rabbit holes that are as unfamiliar to him as to anyone else. His contagious unbridled energy can get any crowd going. This kamikazee method seems to be working as he has opened for big names like Sean McLoughlin, Todd Barry and Marc Rebillet.

Alan Francis
Since winning Channel 4’s So you Think You’re Funny at the 1991 Edinburgh Festival, Alan has been a regular on the UK and International Comedy Circuit.
Alan has appeared in numerous TV shows including Psychoville, Mid Morning Matters with Alan Partridge, Knowing Me Knowing Yule, Alistair McGowan’s Big Impression, Ancona and Co, Alas Smith and Jones, The BBC Stand-Up Show, the Alan Davies Show, Alexei Sayle’s Stuff, Between the Lines and Taggart. He has acted in the West End and at The Royal Court Theatre, for The National Theatre of Scotland and at the RSC. Last year Alan 's show Inside Alan Francis was broadcast on Radio 4 Extra as was his comedy drama Eking which was on Radio 4.

Sergej Lopouchanski
As a finalist of the Lunatics Comedy Award and Radio 2 Humor Class, Sergej Lopouchanski is a permanent fixture in the Flemish comedy circuit. When he is not organizing a comedy evening, he is on stage with a short set. His first full-length show will premiere in September 2023, From Russia with Love. He is also known for ‘Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One’ (2023)’. Juanita Coble
Doña Juanita is back. After 25 years of reluctantly raising her children and going corporate, she is back on stage with a microphone in her hand and fire in her heart. Her humor is not what you would expect from a lady. But she is. She is a pure Gooische vrouw and a bag of chips. Exposed, examined, and deliciously flawed. This 55+ teenager explores divorce, 21st century mating and dating rituals and examines the Dutch culture from an American perspective.
