About the show
Is Motors a theater performance, a dance show or something with motorbikes on stage? Or is it a group of friends who always do everything together and secretly also have their own identity? Ah well, it doesn’t matter, because if you accelerate, nobody will hear you cry in your helmet. #breakdance #performance.
THE PRESS ABOUT MOTORS
“The reference to both urban dance and the motor scene is very obvious, but also more engaged subjects emerge, such as individual and group identification, sexuality and macho behavior. The control of the engines, no matter how small, is impressive. With Motors, the dance collective 155 affects everyone, young and older people. Motors creates a festive plea for dance, motorbikes and self-relativity.”
“A creative madness full of talent on a stage.”
“Stubborn macho dancers who are known for their creative self-mockery.”
ABOUT 155 (ONE-FIVE-FIVE)
After 155 (one-five-five) overwhelmed festivals, music venues and De Parade with a show that was a cross-over between a theater performance, a club night and a concert, the men are back on the theater stage with Motors. 155 creates performances based on their unceasing fascination for the world in which they (and we) now live and move. In Motors, the men combine two great loves: motorbikes and dance.
