About the show
In addition to Lucas van Merwijk, Drums United consists of the Venezuelan Marco Toro, the Turkish Alper Kerkeç and the Senegalese Moussé Pathé. While the saxophones of Artvark with their compelling melodies and “soulful soundscapes” hover across the stage like a four-headed monster, the percussionists from Drums United push their ultimate World Groove onto the stage. Artvark & Drums United take you on a timeless trip, past a meditative coral with vocal percussion to a steaming saxophone solo.
