About the show
With beautiful music, stories and anecdotes from the 60’s and 70’s, Joost Botman and Niels van der Gulik tell about Simon Simon and Art Garfunkel in a fascinating way. Their way to success, the clashes, their professional divorce and the legendary reunion concert in Central Park in 1981.
Just like Simon and Garfunkel, Joost and Niels are sometimes looking for solidarity, but they always find each other again in their musical playing. The up-tempo songs are full of fun and with the fragile songs they give the audience goosebumps. Sound of Silence is not only a feel-good-concert, it also sheds new light on timeless hits such as Mrs. Robinson, The Sound of Silence, Cecilia and Bridge over Troubled Water.
