About the Comedians

Diederik Zuurmond might not sound like it, but he's an English-speaking comedian reluctantly tasked with reconnaissance. He clinched both the audience and jury prizes at the English Comedy Talent Award 2023 and tours extensively throughout Europe and the UK. As a member of Comedy Club Haug, Diederik is a true powerhouse during the pro shows, as well as with his hour-long intriguing solo act, Manchild.

Katherine Rhodes

With many years of real-world experience, Katherine Rhodes is a highly respected and sought after performer. Her sharp humour mixed with incredible magic leave audiences amazed and amused as the laws of physics are cast aside and the impossible is made a reality. Katherine is not only a member of the world famous The Magic Circle, she is a member of the Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star (the highest degree possible and awarded to less than 300 people worldwide) and in 2021 was elected Vice President. She has also received The Cecil Lyle Award from The Magic Circle, the first female to win it in the society's history. When not performing magic you'll either find her making things up on stage as a member of the improv group Magician Improvable or in the sky as she holds a pilot's licence and is a keen aviator.

Kristel Zweers Dutch comedian Kristel Zweers only started to perform in English after her move to Singapore in 2013. Leaving a successful Dutch comedy career behind ( incl. tv appearances and broadcasts of her shows) she was determent to make it all happen again. With success. Within a year she was touring Asia with performances in India, Sri-Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia, China and Australia. She had great impact with her show “ LOST” at Fringeworld Perth.

Phoebe Perry, as an American, has a slightly different view of acting normal, luckily it’s normal not to act normal on stage. She started with comedy in Chicago. When she moved to the Netherlands in 2019, she also had to leave her comedy life behind in America. That is why she learned to speak Dutch and returned to her beloved world of comedy. Phoebe plays wherever people allow her and is the host of ROTTDAMMIT, the late night show at Club Haug. With her boundless energy, unique angles and sometimes mysterious grammar, she races across the stage. To put it in beautiful Dutch: Phoebe is one-of-a-kind.
