This course includes 15 classes + the chance to shine in two dance performances in our theatre
A must for anyone who loves sensual and powerful dance!
We begin with a full-body warm-up focused on isolations, strength, core activation, flexibility, and ankle stability. Then the heels go on, and we work on walking in heels, posing, turns, floorwork, and building confidence in your own body.
The final part of the class centers around choreography — sometimes smooth and sensual, other times sharp and commercial. There's something for everyone.
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
Perform advanced Heels elements with more confidence and control
Further develop your flexibility, coordination, and isolations
Better understand how to interpret dynamics in movement and music
Learn and perform more complex choreography
Connect with an amazing group of passionate dancers
Have fun and grow in a safe and inspiring environment
Some prior dance experience is required for this class. It doesn't necessarily need to be in heels, but you should be familiar with basic dance elements such as pliés, turns, and body awareness.
The class is taught at a faster pace than the beginner course.
The dance performance will take place in the theatre at Griffioen on Friday, June 19, and Saturday, June 20. As soon as ticket sales go live, you will find the ticket link here.
