This course includes 15 classes + the chance to shine in two dance performances in our theatre

Jazz dance is energetic, expressive, and versatile. The classes combine technique, isolations, rhythm, and dynamics, all set to contemporary music. It’s a perfect blend of strength, style, and fun, ideal for dancers who love to move with flair and feeling.

You’ll learn both basic and more advanced jazz elements, such as pirouettes, contact/release technique, and arm and foot positions. You'll also develop your flexibility, coordination, and strength.

In the first half of the class, we explore key themes like center, balance, strength, length, flow and grooves, rhythm, and floorwork. In the second half, we focus on learning choreography that will be performed during the course presentations. Open to all levels.

The dance performance will take place in the theatre at Griffioen on Friday, June 19, and Saturday, June 20. As soon as ticket sales go live, you will find the ticket link here.
