Ballroom Dancing I

In this course you will learn the basics of several dances, such as the Quickstep, English Waltz, Chacha, Tango, Rumba and the Jive, and you will learn the secret of leading and following so that you can really enjoy dancing! Signing up with a partner of your own level is not a must, but recommended.

About the teacher

Peter Wajer started ballroom dancing in 1979 at dancing school Griffioen in Haarlem. He danced various competitions until 1992, including the NK ballroom dancing. From 1993 he has been teaching with a lot of pleasure.

Additional Information

You should sign up with a partner, so it is best to sign up with one. Uniparents are welcome.

Our dance courses are taught by professional teachers. We work with a maximum number of participants per group to ensure sufficient individual attention.

The courses take place on the sixth floor of the OZW building at the VU Campus (de Boelelaan 1109).
