Good news: the new theater season ticketsale is coming up. Are you ready for it? Starting Wednesday, May 10th at 12:00 PM, you can order tickets online.
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
As always, we offer a wide range of shows, including cabaret, stand-up comedy, drama, theatre concerts, dance, circus acts, lectures, and more. This includes several language no problem and English-language performances, so you can plan a fun night out with all your international friends.
This season, Kasper van der Laan, Ellen ten Damme, Roué Verveer, Najib Amhali, Micha Wertheim, Raymi Sambo, Pieter Derks, Her Majesty, Rundfunk, Spinvis, and Nhung Dam are among the scheduled performers. In addition, there will be multiple editions of the Griffioen Comedy Club and of course the Griffioen de Stoep Cabaret Festival.
EMPLOYEE SHOWS
As an employee of the Vrije Universiteit, you always get a discount. Additionally, we select special employee shows every season. A ticket for an employee performance costs only €3. You can even bring 3 guests for the same rate, and you will receive 2 drink vouchers per person for a drink at Bar Boele. The first employee performances are already on our website.
STUDENT DISCOUNT
As a student, you always get a discount. Even if you don't study at the VU. You are considered a student by Griffioen if you are a full-time student at an MBO, HBO, or WO institution in the Netherlands (not from abroad), or a part-time or pre-master student at the VU. This way, you and all your friends can enjoy the theatre at a discount!
FREE TICKETS FOR CABARET SPECIAL
This year, we have a special promotion for you. Anyone who buys 10 or more tickets for Griffioen theater performances from the 2023/2024 season in May will receive 2 free tickets for our cabaret special on Tuesday, September 19th at 8:00 PM. If you have ordered more than 10 tickets before June 1st, you will receive confirmation and your tickets by email in June. This promotion is only valid for tickets purchased in May, so make sure to act fast.
