Rami Nima and Luuk Ransijn win the Griffioen/de Stoep Cabaret Festival 2021

On Saturday 23 October 2021, one and a half years after the original date, the final of the Griffioen/de Stoep Cabaret Festival could finally take place. Luuk Ransijn won the Audience Award and the Jury Prize was awarded to Rami Nima.

The jury called Nima 'a stand-up comedian pur sang with an engaging personality, full of potential'. Luuk Ransijn won over the audience with his musicality and expressive acting. The other contestants were Jaromir Palthe and Kai Bodewitz, well-deserved finalists according to the jury. The jury report opened with the question: Where are all the female participants this year? Let this be a call to action!

The Griffioen/de Stoep Cabaret Festival has proven to be a springboard to a cabaret career for many talented cabaret performers. Previous finalists and winners of the festival include René van Meurs, Alex Ploeg, Dara Faizi, Kirsten van Teijn, and Anne Neuteboom.
