25 years of Griffioen theatre
Tuesday, November 19, VU Griffioen celebrated the 25th anniversary of Theater Griffioen in its current form and bid farewell to VU Griffioen director Eme van der Schaaf and VU veteran Erna Klein Ikkink. It was a vibrant program filled with music, dance, comedy, surprises, and speeches.
Comedian Boban Benjamin Braspenning hosted the evening. Performances included Maartje & Kine, our very own Griffioener Sebastiaan Scholten with his band Soundwell, VU Kamerkoor, the VU Griffioen Dance Crew, and heartfelt speeches for and by Eme and Erna. It was a truly festive and unforgettable evening. With this farewell, Eme van der Schaaf also "officially" passed the baton to our new director, Margreet Cornelius.
