In the dance performance "Oasis," choreographer and dancer Denden Karadeniz and his company, Zero Dance Theatre, explore the inner oasis: a place where we can be ourselves and find peace. This place is crucial, as being able to freely express and be ourselves seems increasingly challenging in these times. In a world where we are constantly in contact with each other, division and individualism only seem to grow. We often find ourselves diametrically opposed, avoiding dialogue, reactive, and becoming embittered. Every person is different, but we all want to be ourselves, in a safe and secure place.

In this captivating performance, Zero Dance Theatre prompts the audience to reflect on their own oasis: where do you find peace in this world and can you truly be yourself? An exhilarating experience that poses essential questions in our era of growing social complexity. It's translated through a unique blend of various dance styles and backgrounds that converge in a highly physical movement language.
