Visit the newest edition of the Griffioen Comedy Club at theatre VU Griffioen on Friday October 3rd (2025) and Friday March 6th (2026).

Setting: one stage, four stand-up comedians. One by one they show who they are! Who has the act with the wittiest jokes and who steals your heart? The acts are in English so everyone can enjoy the show.

Kendra Borgen

American-born but moved to Amsterdam in 2004. Come hear Kendra’s stories about her journey from the hilariously rugged Alaskan upbringing to navigating the chaos of Amsterdam’s canals.

Adam Fields

No topic is safe for Adam Fields: his routines go from political to plain stupid and everything in between. His style? He describes it as a curious mix of sophisticated English and neurotic Jew. Come and find out what that looks like!

Barney Rivera

A Mexican and an American whose presence brings a unique world view with Latino flavor that has a huge laugh payoff: a stage favorite and a must see! Previously chosen as as the best next generation comedian at the Singapore Comedy Festival. After performing around the world in over 20 countries, he takes the stage in Amsterdam at Griffioen!

Maeva Dolle

Maeva is an English speaking, French-Dutch comedian who charms audiences with her warm, witty personality. A HR professional by day, in her comedy, she employs observational humor, physical comedy and storytelling to convey comedic elements from office life to family gatherings. She performed across Europe and even took the stage at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival!
