Robophilia

Nothing can stand in the way of this wedding! The hall is decorated, the bride and groom are beaming and a host of special guests are on their way....For the first time in history, a human and a robot are entering into this solemn union. But not everything is rosy. Guests slide uncomfortably past each other, and what one robot dreams of is actually a nightmare for the other. What are those two revelers whispering over there in a corner? And what is the stranger doing here with his toolbox?

Under the guidance of director Ronald Wolthuis, Griffioen students Sacha, Karolina, Emma, Elif , Elisa, Jordan, Marisini, Ciara, Mischa, Rex, Tara, Helene, Victor, Jesse, Daan, Sam and Ashley created this play together. After many brainstorming sessions and theater exercises, this comical and exciting play about the intimate relationship between humans and technology, about the fear of the unknown and about what always holds up: love.
