Accessibility

VU Griffioen is located in the New University Building on the VU campus at De Boelelaan 1111, 1081 HV in Amsterdam Zuid (South) and is easily accessible, by bicycle, car, and public transport. Are you going to take a course with us? Then you should be in the adjacent OZW building at De Boelelaan 1109.

Bicycle

Do you live in the neighbourhood? Then feel free to take your bicycle to Griffioen. There is a bicycle shed under the NU building with space for 1600 bicycles!

Car

Our new location is also very easy to reach by car. Set your navigation address to: Van der Boechorststraat 5a, 1081 BT Amsterdam. On the A10 take exit s108 (VUmc) and follow the signs P3 VU Campus. Parking garage P3 is a 3-layer garage under the NU building with space for 600 cars and 24 charging spots for electric cars. The pedestrian exits lead to De Boelelaan and VU Campusplein.

From 3 July 2023, there will be two major changes to paid parking for Buitenveldert and Zuidas. Check the city council's website for more information.

Public transport

The VU is located at a few minutes walking distance from Station Zuid. Trains from all directions pass by the station. In addition, various trams and buses run in the vicinity. Plan your trip easily via 9292.
