Dance crew The Huzlers Collective, affiliated with VU Griffioen and led by choreographer Ana Hazler, has qualified for the Dance Stars European Championship in Kalkar, Germany. From 14 to 17 May, the team will represent Amsterdam on the European stage in the Showdance/Jazz Novice 18+ category.

The twelve-member team has been training and performing together for over two and a half years. During several national competitions this season, the group achieved multiple podium finishes, including first and second places in the qualification rounds, securing their place at the European Championship. Crowdfunding campaign
Participating in a four-day European championship also involves additional costs, such as travel and accommodation. For this reason, the crew has launched a crowdfunding campaign to help make the trip to Germany possible. The funds raised will help cover accommodation, transport and other competition-related expenses. For The Huzlers Collective, the European Championship represents more than just a competition: it is an opportunity to gain international experience, continue growing as a team, and represent the community they have built over the past few years on a larger stage.
