In a month's time movie theatre Rialto and VU Griffioen will open a brand new theatre cafe at De Boelelaan 1111.

A lot is going on at the VU campus, because as of November this will be the place to be for a fun night out. Earlier this season VU Griffioen opened 10 new course rooms in the OZW building, but soon we will also expand from 1 to 2 theatres where we guarantee an evening full of fun and wonder!

In addition, Rialto VU will be showing the most beautiful films every day, from all over the world, in 4 state-of-the-art rooms. Soon you will also be able to admire special exhibitions in the VU ART SCIENCE gallery where art and science meet.

Of course, none of this is complete without a nice café. Bar Boele will be the international living room of the campus - a place for meeting and inspiration, a place to meet with friends or to enjoy a drink after a theatre or film performance.

Bar Boele is not only the place for delicious food and drink, there will also be room for performances, exhibitions, festivals and other special programmes.

In short: it’s the new cultural hot-spot of the Zuidas! See you there soon!
